In the surrounding area there are golf courses, fishing, riding stables and a variety of lovely walks.  There are many places of interest for the whole family.

If you are a keen walker, the Teign Valley is well known for it’s delightful woodland footpaths.  It is an area of outstanding beauty and in the Springtime, the Dunsford woods are  famous for beautiful natural daffodils and a little later, a carpet of bluebells.

Dunsford lies only six miles from the historic city of Exeter yet by travelling just a few miles in the opposite direction, you will yourself surrounded by the stunning and unique scenery of Dartmoor itself.

Devon is renowned for its beautiful coastlines and many lovely beaches are only a short drive away.
